How to Join a Working Group

So you found a working group you like and want to become a member?  Here's how:

1. Use the Working Groups link to navigate to the working groups area
   
   
   
2. Find the avatar of the working group you'd like to join and enter the working group by clicking on it
   
   
3. Once you're in the group you have two options depending on whether membership is open or moderated.  Look for one of these widgets:
   
   
   • Open Membership - Just click Join and you're in!
     
     
     
   • Moderated Membership - fill out the form and you should hear from the groups owner (hopefully) within a day
     
     
     
     
4. If you get the Access Denied message (below) please contact the Admin.  This is an alpha release issue and has been added to the enhancements list.  Until it is resolved the Admin will facilitate joining these groups.
