How to Contribute to the Body of Knowledge

Contributing to ARCBOK (the IT Architecture Body of Knowledge) happens in two ways - a) by participating in a working group, and b) directly by adding pages to the ARCBOK wiki.

If you interested in participating in a working group see these FAQ and How To pages:

If you'd like to contribute directly to the ARCBOK wiki you need to be a certified architect and send an email to relay@architect-center.com to request update priviledges to the wiki.  This email should include the following information:
  • A subject that reads Request to Add Content to ARCBOK
  • A short description of the content you'd like to add
  • The IT Architecture certification you've earned
Once you've been granted access please familiarize yourself with these Wikipedia articles as reference guidelines:

You say that "to contribute directly to the ARCBOK wiki you need to be a certified architect."

Why have you placed this restriction on contributions.  A project management certification doesn't make you a good project manager (I know, I've got one), and the same could be said for business analysis, development, testing, etc.  Surely any contribution will be peer reviewed, and if it is not a valuable contribution, it should be thrown out - even if written by Mr Zachman, Mr Booch, or others.
