Angela Yochem: The Role of Enterprise Architecture in Uncertain Times

Do you drive investment strategy for your company?  Forward-thinking companies are realizing that architects are very good at identifying revenue opportunities as well as cost/risk reduction plays. In this session we’ll talk about how enterprise-level architects are well-positioned to drive technology *and* business strategy, and how business transformation can be jump-started by the vision, perspective and creativity of sophisticated architects (now that’s EA 2.0!).  We’ll encourage architects to flex their muscles outside the bounds of a traditional architecture job role, describe the steps architects need to take to optimally drive business strategy, and provide lessons-learned along the way.
